Skateboarding At Gimber Motors

The local lads hang around at Gimbers practicing their skateboarding. This is Tom bouncing off a palette on his board.

Caveman

Am back working with the skateboard theme. The 'caveman',I believe , is when you hold your board,jump down steps and then land on your board!

This painting shows the action set in my garden,I have adjusted the paved area to represent steps in order to include the skateboard figure in my garden. Subsequent paintings show the figure in the actual setting which is in the oval basin down in Cardiff Bay.

Combination Pip

I could do a musical Pip? or a combination of musical body art Pip?

I normally work with a fineliner pen,but for this drawing of Pip I tried out my new pen.I think it would be fab to draw Pip after a meeting with Raphaelle the body artist ...have emailed her!!

Rugby Paintings

Have enjoyed painting these rugby images...they are exhibited at St.Donats Arts Centre near Llantwit Major until the end of this month.

Penarth Yacht Club

Penarth yacht club are easily identified by their turquoise sails...and they sail on Penarth beach...here they are launching their craft.

Penarth Esplanade,launching the boats

I went down to Penarth sea-front every day for about three weeks in order to draw views of Flatholm Island.I ended up drawing the fishermen and yachtsmen and women launching their boats.This is a final painting of launching the boats,although I may yet do some more work on it.
